Once you have created ledger accounts based on this guide, you can now use them and assign them to products. You can do this in 2 ways:
- Assign per product
- Assign per category
1. Assign per product
Open a product record and go to the Financial tab. Here you can now select a ledger account from the drop-down list at the top of the screen.
2. Assign per category
From the Catalog Settings, you can also assign a ledger account to all products within a category.
To do this, select a ledger account from the drop-down list for a particular category. Then check this category and click on the action button "Apply ledger accounts to articles" at the top of the screen.
